Instructions

You heat the oven to 200° c (thermostat 6).

Peel the cabbage, wash and cut into strips.

Put to cook in a pot of boiling water until it is tender.

Drain them and add the juniper berries.

Melt 30 g butter in a pan, throw yourself through switch the flour and stir over low heat for about two minutes.

Remove from heat and pour milk and cream gradually, stirring.

Put on the stove and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce has thickened.

Add salt, pepper, nutmeg and paprika.

Grease a baking dish of porcelain with 15 g of butter.

Mix cabbage and sauce and pour it in the pan.

Sprinkle the preparation with grated cheese mixed with bread crumbs and the rest of the butter in flakes.

Bake and cook for 15 minutes.

Then raise the temperature of the oven at 230° c (thermostat 7) and cook again for ten minutes until the surface is golden.
