Turnip greens braised in wine
Instructions
Clean thoroughly and wash turnip greens several times; then drain and cook in a pot without water, but left after washing; as they will cook more peaks, ride out a little liquid that must be continually deleted because bitter.
When turnip greens will no more any liquid, after about half an hour, minimize the heat, add the salt, freshly ground pepper, peeled garlic cloves, olive oil, wine and Bay leaves, washed and dried.
Stir thoroughly and simmer, low and focus on container, uncovered for about 15 minutes.
At the end of cooking, transfer the turnip greens on serving platter, previously heated, and serve hot.

- 1600 g of turnip greens
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 leaves of laurel
- 1 glass red wine
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil extra virgin
- Salt
- Peppercorns
