Onions to grosseto
Instructions
Boil the whole onions in boiling salted water for a quarter of an hour.
Drain, let cool.
Using a sharp knife, remove the pulp leaving of bowls.
Chop the pulp and mix it with veal, stripped and crumbled sausage, two tablespoons of grated cheese, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, egg, salt, pepper and a pinch of nutmeg.
Mix well and fill the bowls with the mixture of onions.
Put them in a pan, pour the broth, cover and simmer for about 30 minutes until the sauce becomes thick.
Put them on a plate and serve hot.

- 150 g of minced veal meat
- 4 large onions
- 1 small sausage
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons of grated cheese
- 1/2 cup of broth
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
