Fried Onion Rings (Anelli di Cipolle Fritti)
Instructions
Prepare the batter: put the flour into a bowl, make a well where you break the egg, add the oil, a pinch of salt and pepper.
Stir vigorously, the batter should be smooth, without lumps and the right density.
Let it rest for an hour.
Peel the onions and cut them into rings not too thin.
Leave them to soak in cold water for about half an hour.
Drain them, dry thoroughly and quickly passed them in batter FRY in plenty of hot oil.
Retire it with perforated blade, dry them on absorbent paper towels, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Serve immediately.

- 2 large onions
- Abundant of olive oil
- Salt
- White pepper

- 3 tablespoons of flour
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 egg
- 1 pinch of salt
