Almond Cake (Dolce di Mandorle)
Instructions
Toast almonds in oven a few minutes.
Chopping finely and mix with sugar and flour.
Melt the butter in a double boiler and add to flour the lumping together well.
Add baking powder, liqueur and whipped egg whites.
Mix gently and pour the mixture into a buttered.
Bake the cake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes.

- 75 g of flour
- 100 g of peeled almonds
- 100 g of butter
- 1/2 teaspoon of yeast
- 130 g of icing sugar
- 4 egg whites
- 1/2 cup of kirsch
