Instructions

Put soaked beans for a whole night in a bowl with plenty of water and a bay leaf.

Use the same procedure with the pork pieces.

Then let them boil for half an hour to let them soften and eliminate some of the fat.

Once drained, arrange in a pot high edged along with beans and sausage cut into pieces.

Cover with water, add salt and cook for 2 hours over low heat.

In a Pan fry oil, garlic, onion and Bacon, adding a little bean broth, chopped parsley and poured it all into the soup, stirring and simmer until thick, feijoda is well cooked meat.

Served in earthenware bowls, accompanied by raw sauce prepared with onion, parsley, garlic and finely chopped tomatoes, olive oil, lemon juice and crushed red pepper.
