Carnival fritters
Instructions
Dissolve yeast with a little flour, sugar and milk and put it to rise in a warm place.
In a bowl mix the flour, eggs, butter, sugar and lemon zest, a pinch of salt, the warm milk and yeast.
Mix well and long, add raisins and rum.
FRY in spoonfuls into the hot oil, shaking the Pan so that the pancakes will swell from all sides.
Just fried, place them on a paper to absorb the excess fat, and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 20 g of brewer's yeast
- 280 g of flour
- 4 egg yolks
- 50 g of sugar
- 20 g of butter
- 25 cl of milk
- 1 grated lemon rind
- 30 g of sultanas
- 2 tablespoons of rum
- 1 pinch of salt
