Instructions

Prepare ice cream Base to the cream (see recipe).

Before introducing the mixture into the ice cream maker, dip for a moment the kernels of nuts in boiling water, so you can easily remove the film covering them.

Keep aside four whole kernels, you will use for the final decoration, and finely chop the other (or better pestateli in the mortar with a spoonful of sugar that will absorb any oil produced by nuts).

Add the chopped walnuts to the base cream of ice cream and add to the rum.

Gently stir the mixture until it is well blended; pour into ice cream maker and then consolidate the ice cream by following the specific instructions of your device.

When the ice cream is ready, remove it from the freezer and, with the help of appropriate tool, make balls arranged in large individual bowls.

Decorate each cup with a whole Walnut kernel and serve immediately.

If you don't have electrical equipment but would also prepare homemade ice cream, and you whipped, well follow some precautions.

First of all we must remember that, after introducing the Pan (or pans, complete or without dividers) in the freezer, produced by ice is mixed with a wooden spoon about every 30 minutes, at least until it will be soft enough to do.

This system will prevent the surface of ice formation of icicles, watery product that would make completed; also reduce the risk that certain ingredients separate, plummeting to the bottom.

With a stirring regularly carried out all elements are best amalgamated and the ice cream is frozen.
