Grilled Provolone (Provolone Alla Piastra)
Instructions
The way to prepare this dish, cooking on the grill, but in the absence of this will go very well even the cast-iron Grill.
First, place the Grill Pan on the stove to heat.
Meanwhile chop the herbs, parsley and place in a bowl.
Lightly salt and pepper thoroughly, then add the lemon juice and oil.
Beat vigorously with a fork until mixture is emulsified well.
Take slice of provolone at a time and place on the grill, wait a few seconds, and then with a spatula, turn the slice of cheese on the other side.
Arrange, mano a mano, provolone slices on serving dish and when they are all cooked, drizzle with herb sauce.
Served as if it were a normal bread, with seasonal salad.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 8 slices of provolone cheese (slices from 80 g)
- 1 sprig of rosemary
- 1 sprig of sage
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 sprig of parsley
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/2 lemon (juice)
- Salt
- Pepper
