Turnip and bacon
Instructions
Peel turnips, wash them, dry them.
With a sharp knife cut a hole in the middle of each.
Place a knob of butter, add salt and pepper and place in a saucepan with the top edge.
Fill the container half a glass of water, cover and cook adding, if necessary, another boiling water.
In a pan place the bacon cut into strips and leave to melt the fat over low heat.
Prepare the béchamel sauce with milk, flour and butter, salt and pepper.
Add the drained bacon.
Place the turnips on the serving dish and cover with the sauce.
