Artichoke Flan (Sformato di Carciofi)
Instructions
Peel and browse the artichokes taking by only hearts.
Wash and boil them in salted water and vinegar with a few drops of lemon juice for 15 minutes.
Drain, chop and let cool.
Prepare the béchamel sauce.
In a bowl, lightly beat the eggs with the grated cheese and then gently crushed artichokes.
Stir and mix all the sauce.
Add salt, pepper, pour the mixture into a buttered mould and powdered with fine breadcrumbs.
Bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees about three quarters of an hour.
Withdrawn from the oven, put on the serving dish and serve.
