Cut the stockfish into pieces and salt on the surface.
In a large skillet Sauté onion thin thin.
Join 3 ladles of hot water, sliced potatoes, chopped garlic and parsley, and thyme and chopped Mint.
Join the stockfish into pieces; adjust salt and pepper and finish with a rub of ginger; Cook gently.
