Carrot Cake (Torta di Carote)
Instructions
Mix sugar with the carrot puree, making sure to delete before all the liquid that will be formed.
Combine the flour, eggs beaten well, then the ground almonds, 1 l of milk and a knob of butter.
Add the sachet of baking powder and lemon rind.
Stir very well to mix the ingredients and pour into a buttered baking dish.
The mixture should have the consistency of a cream.
Cook in hot oven.
Leave to cool.
Note: before baking, add a pinch of fine salt; the size of the Pan is about 30 cm in diameter.

- 100 g of sugar
- 250 g of carrots
- 250 g of flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 sachet of baking powder
- 150 g of almond
- 1 dram of milk
- 1 walnut butter
- 1/2 lemon (zest)
