Bean Soup (2) (Zuppa di Fave (2))
Instructions
Put to cook beans only with water.
Halfway through the cooking, add the fried lard and onion and let flavour.
Meanwhile prepare the yellow bread slices in a salad bowl, pour over the beans with all the cooking broth, let stand for a few minutes and then serve.
Ingredients and dosing for 6 persons
- 1000 g of fresh shelled fava beans already (or dried beans to soak an entire night)
- 2 onions
- 40 g of lard
- 1500 g of yellow bread
