Strawberry rhubarb compote
Instructions
Wash the strawberries, dry them and remove them the petiole.
Put them in a bowl.
Cover with orange juice and let them macerate.
Meanwhile prepare the rhubarb, clean it thoroughly, cut it into small pieces and heat for a few minutes in water at a boil.
Drain Them.
Prepare sugar syrup.
Dilute a teaspoon of vanilla in two fingers of water and add sugar syrup.
Bring all to a boil slowly.
Add the pieces of rhubarb and cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
Pour this hot mixture over strawberries.
Let cool.
Keep the bowl in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

- 300 g of strawberries
- 400 g of rhubarb
- 1 orange
- 25 cl of sugar syrup
- Vanilla
