Fried Mussels (Fritto di Cozze)
Instructions
Carefully wash the mussels, open them and stored carrots, clams in a bowl.
Then, run a couple of times in the flour, just after the egg beaten and finally in breadcrumbs.
Separately, in a pan, heat the oil and fry the mussels until they are golden.
Finally, place them on absorbent paper to remove excess cooking oil.
Serve warm immediately and crisp, accompanied by lemon juice.

- 1000 g of mussels
- 2 eggs
- Flour
- Breadcrumbs
- Olive oil
- 2 lemons (juice)
- Salt
- Pepper
