Citron liqueur
Instructions
Cold melt 800 g sugar in a quart of water and put the liquid in a bottle that will be stirred occasionally.
Take a big cedar and grattugiarne the entire Peel will start merging into another bottle with 30 cl brandy, for eight days after a well-sealed bottle.
Don't forget, during this period, mixing the contents occasionally.
After this time, pass the infusion through a wet cloth wrung out and mix it in a bottle with six other decilitres of brandy.
Stir and allow to stand for two more days.
Prepare a clean flask; put the sugar water mixture and add it to the content of the bottle.
Shake the flask; Let it rest for a fortnight, then pass the liquid through a filter paper.
The liqueur is ready.
