Meringate apples
Instructions
Peel the apples, cut them into pieces and put them in a saucepan with the butter and the grated lemon rind and sugar.
Simmer for 15 minutes then pass apples through a sieve, add the egg yolks and rum.
Divide the mixture into 4 dishes and bake for 20 minutes at 200 degrees.
Whip egg whites until stiff with the icing sugar and place over apples.
Go under the grill until the meringue is golden.
Serve warm.

- 6 golden apples
- 80 g of cane
- 50 g of butter
- 1 lemon
- 3 eggs
- 50 g of icing sugar
- 1 dram of rum
