Melon and ham (2)
Instructions
Wash, dry and put the melon in the fridge for about 2 hours.
Just before bringing it to the table, cut it in half and using a spoon remove all the seeds and filaments.
Then, with a very sharp knife, split it into regular slices and remove the pulp from the skin, leaving it attached to one side.
Arrange the slices of ham on a platter and slices of melon on another and bring to the table.
If you can arrange directly on each dish of melon slices 2 Diners and 4 or 5 of ham; or you can arrange the melon, already prepared as we have indicated, on a bed of crushed ice and serve the ham apart.
