Chocolate and strawberry surprise
Instructions
Melt the chocolate in a Bain-Marie with 60 g of butter.
Beat the egg yolks with sugar, add the melted chocolate, flour and cornflour, and finally the whipped egg whites with a pinch of salt.
Grease and flour a cake mold of about 20 cm in diameter, move in the mixture and bake at 180 degrees already warm for 45 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool.
Wash the strawberries and cut them into slices, leaving attached leaflets.
Apart from working the butter (let soften at room temperature) with a whip to make it soft, add the icing sugar and the vanilla, finally, always stirring, cream.
Spread the frosting over the cake and on the edges, add the strawberries, fold and distributed the chocolate sprinkles between strawberries and edges.

- 200 g of sugar
- 30 g of flour
- 30 g of maizena
- To decorate:
- 70 g of butter
- 200 g of icing sugar
- 1 sachet of vanillin
- 3 tablespoons of cream
- 5 large strawberries
- 2 tablespoons of chocolate sprinkles
