Bourbon cake
Instructions
Soaked amaretti in bourbon.
Mix butter and sugar.
Whip the egg yolks and melted chocolate.
Add vanilla and chopped walnuts.
Whip the egg whites in the snow well soda and add to chocolate mixture.
Line sides of a mold with ladyfingers.
Cover the bottom of the mold with 1 layer of macaroons soaked in bourbon.
Make another layer with chocolate mixture.
Alternate layers until you have used all the macaroons and chocolate mixture.
Refrigerate for 1 night.
Before serving, remove sides of pan and garnish with whipped cream.

- 450 g of amaretti biscuits
- 1 cup of bourbon
- 2 cups of butter
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 12 eggs
- 100 g of melted bitter chocolate
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
- 1 cup of chopped walnuts
- 12 biscuits savoiardi (each split into 2)
