Apple and Almond Cake (Torta di Mele e Mandorle)
Instructions
Put soaked the raisins in warm water.
Coarsely chopped almonds.
In a bowl beat the eggs with sugar until mixture is soft, white and fluffy.
Then add a little at a time, alternating flour approx 1 glass of milk; the batter should be very smooth.
Peel the apples, deprive of cored and cut them to pezzetti then when done to raisins and almonds.
Add to the batter of eggs, sieved yeast, mix well then add fruit.
Mix again then pour into a buttered and floured.
Bake in oven at 180 degrees for one hour.

- 1000 g of apples renette
- 250 g of flour
- 100 g of shelled almonds
- 100 g of sultanas
- 100 g of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 glass of milk
