Bucatini with creamed leeks
Instructions
BUCATINI 2_03148 LEEK CREAM INGREDIENTS for 4 PEOPLE 2 shallots, 2 cloves of garlic, 500 g large leeks, 25 g butter, 20 cl of cream, 500 g of bucatini, 100 g of cheddar (type of cheese), salt, pepper.
Peel and mince the shallots with garlic.
Clean the leeks, keeping ó leaves and cut them into rings.
Fry them In a pan with the shallot and chopped garlic, for 20 minutes, in hot butter; Add salt and pepper.
Add the cream, stir, and then reduce, over medium heat, for 5 minutes: the sauce must be thick.
Meanwhile, Cook the bucatini in boiling salted water and drain.
Remove the crust from the piece of cheddar and grate it; incorporatene half the leek fondue, add bucatini and stir carefully.
Pour the preparation in a serving dish, sprinkle with grated cheese and serve immediately.
