English bread pudding
Instructions
An hour before put to soak the raisins in warm water and remove the butter from the refrigerator.
Remove the crust from the bread slices, imburratele thoroughly on both sides and disponetene a layer on the bottom of a large baking dish greased with butter (you can cut two slices or as it is more useful to better place them).
Sprinkle with half the raisins, put another layer of bread.
In a bowl mix the eggs with the sugar and stir, slowly add the milk, cream and raisins.
Pour the mixture over the bread.
Let stand for 30 minutes or until the bread has absorbed the cream.
Cover the pan with aluminum foil and place in preheated oven at 180 degrees for 45 minutes.
Remove the aluminum foil and continue cooking for another 15 minutes.
Serve warm with apricot sauce.
