Christmas buns
Instructions
The doses are for 12 rolls.
Sift together 250 g of flour, half a teaspoon of baking powder and a pinch of salt; Add a little nutmeg, granulated sugar and the zest of half a lemon.
Stir the ingredients, make the fountain and stand in the Middle 70 g butter slightly softened and cut into pieces, a cold-yolk and milk; knead quickly obtaining a paste of right consistency and easy to manipulate.
Pesatela and divide into 12 equal pieces; roll between your hands each of these pieces forming so many balls, then place quite apart on a buttered and floured plate.
Charged on each ball of dough two cuts on the cross, then pennellatele with the second yolk and after few minutes sprinkle them with a little granulated sugar.
Pass the plate in the oven already warm to 200 degrees for about 18 minutes, until the buns have very short, puffy and golden.

- 110 g of milk
- 100 g of butter
- 50 g of sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 lemon (zest)
- Granulated sugar
- Nutmeg
- 1 pinch of salt
