Christmas Pudding (Pudding di Natale)
Instructions
Skinned almonds and place them in boiling water, cut into cubes and chop the candied fruit.
Meanwhile place the raisins in warm water so that I can find.
Make a dough with flour, sugar, candied fruit, the juice and peel of a lemon, the juice and peel of the Orange.
You have to incorporate everything so that what you get is a very smooth; then let it sit for a good half-hour.
At this point the mixture thus obtained will add 4 eggs, milk, a glass of brandy and the breadcrumbs.
Stir thoroughly to incorporate all these ingredients.
Let it sit for a whole night.
The next morning take a mould from sweet, sprinkle with the breadcrumbs and pour in the mixture.
Close everything with metallized paper and cook in a Bain-Marie for about 4 and a half hours.
When cooked let cool a little and put in the fridge.
When serving pull out from the fridge, and place it on a plate and garnish with sugar cubes.
