Instructions

Wash blackberries under a gentle stream of water and leave to dry in the open air.

Put them in a pot and let them cook on moderate heat for about 10 minutes.

Remove them from the pot and mash in a bowl with a wooden paddle.

Put blackberries in the pot, then add the sugar and cook on a moderate heat stirring constantly until it reaches the right consistency.

Put hot jam into jars, leave to cool and seal.
