Grandma's apple pie
Instructions
In a bowl beat the eggs with the sugar and pinch of salt.
Add the flour a little at a time, a grated lemon peel, and the yeast dissolved in a little warm milk.
Stir the mixture and pour into a buttered and floured.
Peel and slice apples thinly and arrange them over the dough.
Dissolve a little jam with a tablespoon of hot water and pour it over the cake.
Bake in the oven at moderate heat for 35-40 minutes.
