Apricot bread
Instructions
Coarsely chop the dried apricots, place in a bowl, spolverizzarle with baking soda, pour over the water brought to a boil, let cool and add the butter softened at room temperature and divided into small pieces; Add sugar, egg slightly beaten, grated lemon zest, a pinch of salt and then flour sifted with baking powder.
Mix ingredients well and pour the mixture into a buttered Cake mould and dusted with flour.
Cook the bread in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 45-50 minutes; remove from the oven, pull out and let it cool before cutting it into slices.

- 250 g of flour
- 200 g of pitted dried apricot
- 100 g of sugar
- 50 g of butter
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of baking
- 1/2 lemon (zest)
- 25 cl of water
- 1 pinch of salt
