French onion soup
Instructions
Coarsely sliced onions and fry them in butter. When they are golden, add the flour and stir until they take a dark color, but be careful not to burn it!
Add the broth and it's up to you to choose whether to do more or less of liquids: you can do more liquid soup type or denser as a cream. Add salt and pepper and let simmer for 3-4 minutes. Before serving prepare toasted bread slices on the plates covered with grated gruyere cheese.
