Chifelini
Instructions
Traditional sweets of Trieste, but also some areas in Trentino, the chifelini (or chifeleti), of which there are different variations, are preparing without difficulty.
Boil the potatoes, then Peel and put them immediately to the potato masher.
Cream.
sugar, flour, melted butter in a double boiler, and eggs with a pinch of salt, working all vigorously.
With the mixture obtained formed tiny Crescent that friggerete in boiling oil.
Serve piping hot, spolverandole with icing sugar mixed with cinnamon.

- 1000 g of potatoes
- 200 g of flour
- 100 g of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 walnut butter
- Icing sugar
- Cinnamon powder
- Frying oil
- 1 pinch of salt
