The syrian figs
Instructions
In a pot put the orange juice, lemon, lemon zest, figs 3 tablespoons sugar and bring to a boil.
Lower the heat, cover and cook for about 40 minutes.
Drain and let cool figs.
With a knife clip and insert 1 almond in the cut.
Close them and pass them in sugar.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 500 g of figs without peduncles
- 25 cl of orange juice
- 150 g of sugar
- 150 g of peeled almonds
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon of grated lemon rind
