Instructions

Bring to a boil the milk along with a quart of water.

Add the barley and peas (frozen are not necessary if thaws them first).

Adjust salt, pepper and chilli.

Continue cooking at low heat for about half an hour, stirring occasionally.

It's a very simple soup, but of great nutritional value and flavor definitely pleasant.

Can be enriched with cubes of chicken breast or brains.
