Gratinated onion soup (2)
Instructions
In a saucepan melt the butter, add the sliced onions and let them simmer in covered container and a low heat for about half an hour.
The onions should discard and not cook too.
Sprinkle with a bit of flour, add salt, add a pinch of pepper and pour over the hot stock.
Cook for another 15 minutes.
Split the soup in pans of baking dish, lay on two slices of toast, sprinkle grated Emmenthal cheese, butter flakes and a little pepper.
Gratinate in the oven at 200 degrees.

- 400 g of onions
- 40 g of butter
- 125 cl of broth
- 80 g of grated emmenthal cheese
- 8 slices toast
- Flour
- Salt
- Pepper
