2_18335 SOFT CHOCOLATE CAKE and figs INGREDIENTS for 6 PERSONS 200 g of dried figs 2 spoons of rum, amber, 250 g of butter, 250 g flour, one packet of yeast, 30 g of fat-reduced cocoa powder, 100 g Walnut kernels, 200 g dark chocolate, 250 g sugar, 5 eggs, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla powder, 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of powdered ginger, a pinch of salt, butter for the mould. Depicciolate figs and cut them in two. Place in a bowl and cover with rum: mix with a spoon and let them marinate for 15-20 minutes. Preheat oven to 240ø. With a diameter of approximately 24 cm with oven paper and generously grease the bottom and edges. Sift the flour with the baking powder and place in a large bowl. Add the cocoa powder and a pinch of salt. Stir carefully. The coarsely chopped walnuts. Reduce to chocolate chips and let melt or heat in a Bain-Marie. In a large bowl with an electric mixer the butter with the sugar, until the mixture is creamy. Without ceasing to stir, add little by little melted chocolate. Stir the eggs, one at a time, the sieved flour, spices, figs with the liquid of maceration and walnuts. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and Bake 10 minutes; lower the temperature to 180° and continue baking for 30-35 minutes. When cooked, baked the cake and let it cool 10 minutes at room temperature; then remove from pan and on a grid. Serve.
