Apple Cake and pomegranate
Heat the oven to 180° and grease the pan. Combine the flour with the starch; separate the egg yolks from the egg whites and whip the egg whites until foamy firmly with a pinch of salt.
With electric mixer beat the egg yolks, 75 g sugar, then the flour.
Stir gently with a whisk, whipped egg whites, mix well.
Pour the mixture into the cake tin and bake for 25 minutes.
Peel, remove the core apples and cut them into 4 pieces and then into thin slices. Squeeze the lemon. Boil 50 cl of water, add the lemon juice and sugar, stir and let simmer for 2 minutes.
Add apples and continue cooking for 5 minutes over medium heat. With a slotted spoon remove apples and raffreddare on a grid.
Cut the pomegranates in half, sgranatele.
Spread on slices of tart apples and decorated with grains of Pomegranate. Served cold with a sprinkling of icing sugar.

- 30 g cornflour
- 3 eggs
- 325 g sugar
- 4 golden delicious apples
- 1 lemon
- 2 pomegranates
- 20 g of icing sugar
- salt
